Ladies and Gentlemen, I have a confession:

I have become obsessed with the Byredo le chemin lotion left over from my recent stay at The Whitley Hotel, and I apply it to my hands constantly. The bottle is getting emptier by the day, as I need that gentle floral “pick-me-up” to get through the afternoon grind.

I’ve never had that kind of instant love for a hotel lotion before, but it may happen more often, because properties at all levels are stepping up their game when it comes to partnerships with luxury bath and body brands. Gone are the days of dull generic bath soaps and lotions in major hotels, as travelers can now expect more familiar (and TSA friendly) offerings straight from the housekeeping cart.

1. Bliss at W Hotels: W Hotels have enjoyed a long partnership Bliss skincare products, and many of the W properties even have Bliss spas that use the products in treatments.

2. Aromatherapy Associates at JW Marriott: The UK-based cosmetics line claims to feature essential oils that are crafted to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The line made exclusively for JW Marriott was created for the busy traveler to combat dehydration and jet lag.

3. Byredo’s le grand bain for Sheraton Hotels:  Created by Ben Gorham of Byredo, le grand bain unisex bath and body line is available exclusively at Sheraton U.S. and Canada properties. The name le grand bain describes the submergence into deep water, signifying a level of ambition and accomplishment.
