Marriott Rewards Travel Unification

From Marriott: “Beginning in August (2018), members will be able to combine their separate Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and SPG accounts into a single account spanning the entire loyalty portfolio. The Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) names will continue to live on under the new set of unified benefits until a new program name is introduced in 2019.”

This is massive for people like me who’ve been juggling points and rewards with various programs for years. Trying to sort out each program can be a pain!

No word on how your existing points will be totaled up under the new unified plan or what its name will be- so for now just sit tight and hope your points will carry over to the new plan.

Expedia’s Summer Travel Sale
