Looking for some travel inspiration? One of my favorite travel resource sites, TripAdvisor, released their annual Traveler’s Choice Award winning destinations. The winners were determined using an algorithm based on the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings for hotels, restaurants and attractions in destinations worldwide, gathered over a 12-month period, as well as traveler booking interest on TripAdvisor.

Top 10 Travelers’ Choice Destinations – U.S.:

1. New York City, New York
The beloved Big Apple offers something for every type of traveler at any time of day, from Broadway shows to some of the world’s most iconic attractions.

  • Average annual hotel rate in New York City: $406 per night on TripAdvisor
  • Least expensive month to go: August (4% savings, compared to annual average)
